VR tech brings Essential Bathrooms to life in showrooms

Essential Bathrooms has made it easier than ever for customers to view its range – by making it virtual.

Essential – Ideal Bathrooms’ private label brand – has partnered with Virtual Worlds to bring its entire catalogue of over 600 products to life through 3D and 4D technology.

Virtual Worlds enables retailers to work with showroom customers to create virtual reality bathrooms using Essential’s products, allowing them to experience their bathroom design before work begins.

Andrew Cotterill, category manager of Essential, said: “Working with Virtual Worlds allows us to offer the very best service to retailers, who can share that with their customers.

“Using this technology allows retailers to build a true picture of how their customers’ bathrooms, or showroom displays, will not only look but feel, letting them move around and interact with products.

“We’re excited to be working with the Virtual Worlds team and we’re really looking forward to what the partnership will bring.”

Nathan Maclean, managing director of Virtual Worlds, added: “It’s great to be working with Essential to showcase their full range in virtual reality.

“Thanks to our state-of-the-art software we can provide retailers with the tools they need to stand out from the crowd and offer their customers an excellent, bespoke service.”

Among the products added to Essential’s virtual catalogue, which is now live (launched on June 25th), are the budget-friendly range of Montana furniture, perfect for small spaces, and the latest addition to its growing range of brassware, Francis Pegler.

Essential was launched as a private label of Ideal Bathrooms, the UK’s number one bathroom distributor, in 2010 and specialises in bathroom designs to suit all budgets, from sanitaryware and shower enclosures to brassware, accessories and more.
