Moores Furniture Group reflects on a year of exponential growth

Despite a turbulent economic climate and market uncertainty, Wetherby-based kitchen manufacturer, Moores, has seen increased growth throughout 2022 and enjoyed a record-breaking sales month earlier in August. Strong commercial wins, new accounts and strategic appointments have all contributed to the company’s success and supported the brand’s ambitious growth plans.

Alongside the announcement of Mike Barrett taking over as CEO in the new year, and the appointment of Guy Tooth as Operations Director, there have been a series of new hires and promotions at Moores over the past year, from Regional Sales Managers to Customer Service Managers all of whom support key retail and housebuilder accounts, as well as the Moores Direct channel. The commercial team, in particular, has rapidly expanded, reflecting both the stability of this long-standing British manufacturer, and their commitment to servicing their customers.

By putting customers first, Moores has weathered the COVID storm, as well as uncertain supply and demand challenges, and has worked hard to secure future success amidst the ever-growing threat of rising production costs, providing customers with innovative, new solutions and highly competitive lead times.

Mike Barrett comments: “What a way to bring our 75 years anniversary to a close. With our longstanding manufacturing experience, we have always put the needs of our customer network first, and as a result, we have become the brand we are today. A trusted and reliable supplier, Moores is known for providing quality craftmanship and an unrivalled degree of customer service, and we hope that this attention to detail will give new and existing relations the confidence that we are a resilient manufacturer, with the ability to face the challenges that are so often present within our industry.”
