Moores donate kitchen to Leeds-based charity for DIY SOS special

Yorkshire based manufacturer, Moores, have donated a kitchen to Leeds-based charity Getaway Girls, which featured on last night’s Children in Need special of BBC One’s ‘DIY SOS: The Big Build’. The kitchen was used as part of a large scale transformation of the new charity headquarters, which will become a base to support and empower young women in the local area.

CEO Mike Barrett comments: “Here at Moores, we are passionate about supporting our local communities and charities. The Getaway Girls project was a fantastic initiative to be a part of, and we are thrilled to support a charity that supports young women in the region.”
