The Kitchen Bathroom Buying Group (KBBG), part of DER KREIS, Europe’s leading kitchen and bathroom buying group, has launched a consumer-facing website www.mykitchenspecialist.co.uk. The website, which was previewed at the buying group’s recent Annual Members’ Meeting, is designed to help consumers who are planning a kitchen renovation, and to find their nearest kitchen specialist.

The KBBG is working alongside its members with the aim to make the website the UK’s leading network of independent kitchen specialists. Consumers can click on the ‘find a specialist’ button to search for a local kitchen specialist retailer and make direct enquiries with them regarding their kitchen project.

My Kitchen Specialist also provides top tips to help consumers make the right choices when planning and buying a new kitchen. Whether the consumer is seeking advice on adding a kitchen island, or looking for help and information on energy labels and sustainability, My Kitchen Specialist provides the guidance needed to make buying a kitchen an enjoyable, straightforward and exciting experience.

What’s more, the website is full of inspiration for those that are embarking on a kitchen project but unsure where to start. Users can look through and learn about different styles of kitchens including modern, shaker and handless designs, as well as discovering what type of finish is best for them from gloss to matt or textured. There is also the opportunity to browse a selection of retailers’ projects, which showcase some of the incredible designs created by independent kitchen specialists in the UK.

Leading kitchen furniture and appliance manufacturers are also to be found on the website and consumers can easily view and download their latest brochures. In addition, My Kitchen Specialist boasts a handy pricing tool. By following seven easy steps, consumers can get a price estimate for their kitchen project, which will instantly establish whether their initial ideas are in-line with their potential budget.
