IDS celebrates 20 years with 200 employees, customers and suppliers in event extravaganza

IDS has celebrated 20 years of business as a specialist surface materials distributor with a lavish event, attended by over 200 guests including employees from across its 18 branches, as well as customers and suppliers.

Held at The Monastery in Manchester, guests were treated to an evening of food and entertainment, headlined by X Factor winner, Sam Bailey, as well as opera singers John Pierce and Emily Haig, and girl group Absolute Divas.

During the event, IDS held a charity auction which raised over £4,000 for children’s charity Barnardo’s and Destination Florida, who help provide holidays for children facing life-threatening illnesses.

IDS is the UK’s largest surface materials distributor specialising in worksurfaces, flooring, panelling, solid surface, panel products and high pressure laminates. Led by John Bagshaw as MD for 20 years, the company has doubled its turnover to £130m today.
