Group Pedal Power by Wilsonart Raises Funds for Autism Charity

Pedal power came to the Wilsonart group business units when staff from Polyrey (France),Resopal (Germany) and Wilsonart and Bushboard in the UK took to two wheels recently to raise funds for Les Papillons de Bergerac, a charity close to the Polyrey factory that supports children with autism.

The group rode for over 282 km (175 miles) with climbs adding up too 2333m in elevation. The ride involved 15 punishing hours in the saddle and started at the Polyrey factory in Couze and finished 53 miles away in Bergerac. Day 2 was Bergerac to Libourne and then Libourne to Landon. Ruby Larvin Marketing Communications Manager at Wilsonart took part in the ride said, “It was hard work but great fun, a mini Tour de France for us and for a very good cause. It was also a great opportunity to socialise with our colleagues from all functions and sites.”
