Grand Designs Live Success For Virtual Worlds

Virtual Worlds enjoyed a very successful exhibition at Grand Designs Live in Birmingham, with a generous number of leads generated for its retailers during the show.

Visitors to the show at the NEC were eager to have a go at the 4D Theatre, designing their dream kitchen and bathroom in virtual reality before a hammer is lifted. Throughout the five days Virtual Worlds had two 4D Theatres in action, one focusing on kitchen design and the other on bathrooms, with consumers eager to try it out.

For many of the show’s visitors this was their first experience of using 4D technology and they were amazed by the capabilities of 4D Theatre. Many were hooked on the idea of using virtual reality within their projects and signposted to their nearest 4D retailer to progress with their own grand design.

Before leaving the Virtual Worlds stand, visitors were also encouraged to enter a prize draw to win their own virtual reality headset, which further helped to draw in the crowds.

Commenting on the success of the show, Nathan Maclean, Managing Director of Virtual Worlds, said: “Grand Designs Live gave us a brilliant platform to showcase the 4D Theatre and to introduce many consumers to the technology for the first time. Comments from those who tried out the technology were extremely positive and we are very pleased in the amount of awareness our presence at the show raised for our Virtual Worlds retailers.”
