Global Manufacturer Imex Ceramic UK, acquires Puraflow and Puracast Products
Imex Ceramic UK is delighted to be announcing that it has acquired the Puraflow and Puracast product collections from Pura Bathrooms Limited. This acquisition will mean that from the 1st of May 2022 all Puraflow and Puracast products will be available to buy through Imex Ceramic UK only.
It is the intention of Imex to build the product offering around the world to become a complete bathroom solution brand, this acquisition fits well within this strategy and will further develop their brassware and bath offer. Knowing how popular the Puraflow and Puracast products already are in the UK, there is no intention to change the existing product codes and range names, this will mean Imex UK partners only have to change the supplier from May 1st 2022, onwards to be Imex Ceramic UK Limited.
At this exciting time in the development of the Imex Brand, this acquisition will only further strengthen the manufacturing capabilities and service of Imex across further bathroom sectors.

Q: Why the acquisition of Puraflow and Puracast?
A: We have had a fantastic response to our Imex UK product collection, following feedback from our partners there is a huge demand for Imex to provide a complete offering. Our global strategy is to also become a complete bathroom solution to our customers. As our Imex products were previously distributed by Pura Bathrooms in the UK and share in most instances the same range names, coupled with the commercial understanding of their Puracast Baths and Brassware sales, made this decision of acquisition very easy. The brassware is already seeing good growth within the UK and will see an increase in customer support aswell as product development from our own Imex UK team.
Q: What are the benefits to your current Merchant and Showroom Customers?
A: The benefits to our customers take effect from 1st May 2022 they can order brassware, sanitaryware, all types of baths aswell as our very own Imex furniture directly from us at Imex Ceramic UK, with one point of contact and an easier way to trade.
Q: What is the plan for the Puraflow and Puracast Brands
A: Over the next few months, we will be renewing the packaging and branding of all the new products, these will throughout the year gradually all become Imex branded products. We plan to increase the offering to ensure we are at the forefront of product innovation and deliver the products our customers are looking to support.
Q: What else is involved in this acquisition?
A: Imex are employing all staff involved within the acquisition and growing both our internal and external teams almost immediately. This will fast track the extra support and communication needed to our customers. We are very confident we will see a much quicker response to our customer needs. The aim will be for a new complete collection brochure later this year.
