Gaggenau London sets the scene for the festive season with its unique window display.

London, December 2022: The Gaggenau London showroom is once again
bringing a festive feel to Wigmore Street with its Christmas window. Since
2018, the luxury appliance brand has teamed up with a different designer to
create its seasonal display, for showroom visitors and passing shoppers alike
to enjoy. This year, Gaggenau has invited artist Natasha Godfrey to help pay
homage to its roots with a spectacular Bavarian-inspired winter design.
Taking her cue from the breath-taking Black Forest landscape and birth place of
Gaggenau, Natasha has depicted a traditional Bavarian town nestled at the foot of
an evergreen forest. Rolling hills speckled with traditional houses define Natasha’s
illustration, “As an architectural illustrator, I wanted to focus on the iconic German
architecture, with all the crisscrossing woodwork,” she says

Having visited the famous German Christmas markets in Stuttgart and Tuebingen,
Natasha wanted to evoke the same feeling of community and togetherness in her
illustration. As such, she took inspiration from the iconic details that define a
German Christmas market: the Gluehwein stands that serve mulled wine in
customised mugs, ornately decorated stalls festooned with twinkling lights, potato
fritters with apple sauce. “The sights, smells and sounds of a German Christmas
market make this time of year so special, and I wanted to share them with all
visitors to the Gaggenau London showroom,” says Natasha.
Edina Crnkic, Gaggenau Group Brand Marketing Manager said, “The festive
window has become a wonderful tradition at Gaggenau London. We join the
holiday spirit by redefining the experience of celebrating the festive season with a
magnificent art display. We hope the magical scenery at Gaggenau London captures
the attention of passersby to take a minute to stop and admire the artistry and
leave feeling a bit more Christmassy as a result!”

Head to Gaggenau London, 40 Wigmore St, London W1U 2RX to see the festive
window display this Christmas. More of Natasha Godfrey’s work can be found on
