Consumer Credit Solutions appoints Sales Director

Leading home improvement consumer finance company, Consumer Credit Solutions, has appointed Alex McCulloch as its new Sales Director.

Alex was formerly the Head of Business Development for CCS, and the promotion is in recognition for the hard work and business growth he has helped achieve since joining the business 10 years ago.  His appointment as Sales Director coincides with CCS’ transition from a LLP to limited company in April, and he will also join the board.

Alex said: “Working with CCS has been a pleasure and the most enjoyable part of my 20 year finance career.  I’m delighted to be asked to take on the role of Sales Director and, while it’s a big challenge, I’m looking forward to continuing to help drive growth for our retailers and, in turn, continuing the success curve CCS has enjoyed since its inception in 1999.”

In 2017 approved finance volumes topped £362m, up from £324m in 2016.  While the first quarter of 2018 shows no sign of slowing down, with a record volume of over £100m.

Executive Director Peter Nicholson added: “Alex’s ability to build strong relationships with retailers, and create effective credit strategies that deliver real results, is invaluable.  His appointment is a key part of the future growth plans of CCS, and ensures continuity of support for our valued retailer partners for many more years to come.”

Alex will continue to lead the Business Development Team, in addition to his new responsibilities.
