Black Steel steps into the spotlight with Caple’s designer sinks, taps & appliances
Multi award-winning appliance specialist Caple is embracing the sophisticated matt black colour trend with their ultra-contemporary Black Steel finish on a new collection of high-performance appliances and stylish sinks & taps. Five appliances, one sink and a steaming water tap join an existing range of Black Steel sinks and taps to create a sleek, matching aesthetic for a design-led kitchen.
Product manager Luke Shipway explains: “Our Black Steel finish provides a chic, versatile colour, which will integrate well within a classic or modern kitchen scheme. We have introduced this striking colour to our new SASO worktop sinks and new Fosso 4-in-1 steaming water taps. These models join our new C2600BS electric single oven, CMS260BS microwave + steam, WD140BS warming drawer and WC6100BS in-column wine cabinet.”
The new SASO (SASO/BS) sinks in Black Steel come in different sizes and form part of a collection of revolutionary worktop models, where only the base of the sink bowl and overflow are on view. The rest is clad in a stylish waterfall worktop, which can be made in quartz, solid surface or stone, and cascades down each side of the sink bowl at a slanted angle for easy cleaning. There are no visible joins between the worktop and bottom of the sink for a minimalist finish.
He adds: “Our new solid stainless steel Fosso 4-in-1 steaming water tap comes in five finishes with ultra-durable metallic PVD coatings. This is our first ever model to offer fresh cold water, filtered cold water, regular hot water and filtered 98°C hot water in one. The filtered and 98°C hot water is supplied via our new electronic control, with integrated safety features. Showcased here in Black Steel, this WRAS-approved tap features a technologically advanced filtration system to reduce all the water’s impurities, even in hard water areas to achieve the best quality tea or coffee flavour.”
