BKU Awards 2021: A brand new date and a new addition to the line-up
The 2021 edition of the BKU Awards is well underway and we are delighted to announce some exciting news about this year’s ceremony, and introduce a brand new accolade up for grabs at this year’s event.

This year, the BKU Awards ceremony will return to its traditional format with an unmissable live event in the heart of London on Friday 19 November. The ceremony will provide a vital opportunity for the industry to reconnect, network and celebrate the collective successes of the past twelve months.

Extended entry deadline – and a new award to be won!
With the new November date now set in stone, the deadline for entries and nominations in this year’s awards has been extended to Friday 9 April – giving brands, retailers and professionals a little extra time to put themselves in the running to win big!
The extension will also give professionals an opportunity to get involved in a new category, introduced following high demand from the industry: Best KBB Agency.
This new introduction will honour the very best marketing and PR agencies operating in the KBB sector, whose work and commitment is key to the success of many businesses across the sector. Both entries and nominations are welcome in this category – so make sure you get involved!
In addition to this, this year the coveted Corporate Social Responsibility Award will widen its scope to recognise companies that have been active in the fight against the pandemic. Whether it’s a brand reallocating its manufacturing capacity and resources to produce vital PPE or masks, or a retailer who dedicated their time to helping their local community during this difficult time – we want to hear all about it.
As always, the winners in the BKU Awards will be selected by those that know best – professionals working in the sector day in, day out – and voting will now open on Monday 19 April.
