An update regarding the BKU Awards 2020

“In light of the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak, I want to assure you that we at Datateam are monitoring the situation very closely.

We recognise that for many businesses, it is a time of uncertainty. Given the rapidly changing nature of the situation, official information and guidance is changing constantly and we want to do what we can to minimise the impact on the KBB industry and offer something to look forward to in these difficult times.

Myself and the BKU Awards team have been hard at work over the past few months, planning and preparing an extra special event (this e-mail and our revamped website are just a sneak peek at what’s to come) and I truly believe that, now more than ever, it’s vital that we continue our longstanding tradition of recognising the hard work being carried out by everyone across the sector.

With that being said, the safety and wellbeing of our attendees, staff and their communities will always be our number one priority. Any decision to reschedule the event will be based on the most up-to-date guidance issued by the World Health Organisation and any restrictions put in place by the UK government.

I would like to assure everyone that is involved – or considering getting involved – in the BKU Awards that any money you invest into the scheme will certainly not lose its value. Our incredible sponsors will continue to receive exposure via all of the usual platforms as a supporter of a valued scheme of industry recognition and any tickets purchased will be honoured should the event need to be rescheduled to a later date.

When we get through these difficult times, it will be so important for all of us in the KBB market to come together and celebrate what has been overcome – and myself and the team look forward to providing an opportunity for everyone to reconnect, network and enjoy an unforgettable afternoon at the BKU Awards.”
