The UK arm of global sanitaryware manufacturer VitrA, is celebrating its 25th year in 2017.

Renowned for supplying high-quality bathroom sanitaryware, furniture, baths, brassware and accessories for the acclaimed VitrA global brand, the UK division is proud of its substantial growth and market acceptance over the past quarter of a century: despite the hugely challenging economic trading conditions over the past 10 years.

From the simple beginnings of one sales office in the UK, opened in the summer of 1992, VitrA UK has welcomed an increase in personnel, new product collections and brochures and regular attendance at leading industry trade and consumer shows to support its premium network of UK-based retailers. During the past 25 years, VitrA UK have also seen significant success in the commercial sector with significant contract wins including the BAA Heathrow Airport business, supplying sanitary wear to Terminals 2, 3 and 5.

Consequently, VitrA UK’s market growth has been acknowledged by a wealth of different mediums, receiving a range of industry awards, recognitions and accolades all judged and awarded by industry peers.

Recognised as one of the world’s top sanitaryware production facilities in capacity, technology and quality, VitrA has invested heavily in product design and brand image: especially over the last five-year period. In one year alone VitrA globally produces million pieces of ceramic sanitaryware, 3 million faucets, 2.5 million bathroom accessories and 20.1 million square meters of tiles from its state-of-the-art production facilities in Turkey.
