35 years of Mereway
The Mereway group celebrated 35 years of trading on 17th June. Back in 1986 when the company was launched the world was a very different place. Freddie Starr was accused of eating hamsters, Andrew and Fergie got married, both Neighbours and Casualty screened for the first time on TV and Liverpool won the league and the FA Cup!
Mereway Kitchen’s Managing Director, Mark Mills, says, “Celebrating 35 years of manufacturing trading is no mean feat and we are incredibly proud of our dedicated and talented team who have made this possible. The company is barely recognisable from the Mereway that began back in 1986. As well as kitchens we now design, manufacture and sell bathrooms, bedrooms and as of last year, home office solutions. No longer are we centred solely on the Midlands but operate across the whole of the UK. Of course, none of this would be possible without our loyal and committed customers who make operating in this sector such a joy. We look forward to the next 35 years with pride and a sense of privilege. Thank you one and all.”
