Virtual Worlds Takes Pioneering 4d Technology On The Road

KBB retailers around the country will be able to experience the power of virtual reality up close when CAD design company, Virtual Worlds, embarks on a series of roadshows starting this October.

First stop will be the Roca Gallery in London on 17 and 18 October where the latest product developments from both Virtual Worlds, Laufen and Roca will be on show, including Virtual Worlds’ groundbreaking 4D Theatre software.

Attendees will be able to try out the technology as well as take part in the discussion forum “How to reinvigorate the High Street”.  The discussion will centre on ways to drive customers into showrooms and compete with internet retailers.

As the retail landscape becomes more challenging, showrooms need to look at ways to differentiate their offering from online sellers. One way to do this is by providing an enhanced customer experience and the forum discussion will centre around ideas to put this into practice.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the stunning Roca Gallery and view the latest collections from Roca and Laufen.

Nathan Maclean, managing director of Virtual Worlds, said: “2018 has been an incredibly exciting year for us with product launches and new developments in the works. CAD design has come a long way and VR technology has begun to make its mark as the future of design for retailers and designers alike.

We have always been pro the designer and pro the showroom, and we’re looking forward to leading the discussion into how we can help to secure the future of bricks and mortar retailers.”

David Bromell, Gallery Manager at Roca London, added: “The Roca London Gallery is such a versatile space and works perfectly for an event such as the Virtual Worlds roadshow.

“The Roca and Laufen product showroom shares its space naturally with exhibitions, presentations, professional meetings and events relating to design, architecture and sustainability. We’re looking forward to welcoming guests at this upcoming event and exploring virtual reality.”
