Used Kitchen Exchange Appoint B&Q Homefit Dream Team
Used Kitchen Exchange (UKE) has strengthened its team with three key appointments joining from B&Q’s Homefit Installation Service, following its closure in December. The move supports Used Kitchen Exchange’s continued rapid growth in the kitchen industry.
With over 20 years combined experience in the industry, UKE is pleased to appoint Rachael Taylor, Siobhan Loughran and Stuart Snowden. Following 12 years at B&Q Homefit as Customer Project Manager and Showroom Manager, Rachael Taylor joins Used Kitchen Exchange as Operations Manager.
In addition, Siobhan Loughran will transfer her industry knowledge following experience as team leader within B&Q Homefit (and previously Homebase Installation) to join UKE while Stuart Snowden brings his previous experience as a Homefit Project Coordinator.
Helen Lord, director and founder of Used Kitchen Exchange, said, “We are delighted to welcome Rachael, Siobhan and Stuart to our team. They bring with them a wealth of experience and will be instrumental in supporting our next stage of growth.”
“Used Kitchen Exchange is a forward thinking, sustainable business with a very exciting future. 2019 is a pivotal year for us, with many exciting announcements planned. Having this level of expertise on board is an absolute gift and I am extremely grateful Rachael, Siobhan and Stuart have chosen to join us.”
Rachael Taylor, UKE’s new Operations Manager, said, “I’m really excited to be a part of Used Kitchen Exchange. Having seen so many kitchens being taken to landfill during my career, it’s great to be part of a solution to this problem that not only is beneficial the environment but also helps people make money out of something they would previously have thrown away.”
