Elica, the Italian pioneer of the modern cooker hood and largest manufacturer in the world, continue to introduce new and innovative products.

Downdraft extraction is becoming increasingly popular for users who want minimal presence of the cookerhood in their kitchens and the elegant EAGLE is Elica’s latest model of this type. When not in use, just a slim light panel shows behind the cook top.

When called on, the hood rises and curves forward above the hob and its perimeter aspiration system ensures extremely effective extraction. EAGLE is available in gas and electric hob versions and is crafted entirely from high quality stainless steel.

Another way to hide the hood is to conceal it within standard kitchen cabinetry but until now “built-in” models have offered only standard performance. HIDDEN, the new high performance built-in hood from Elica solves this problem. It has high end features such as perimeter aspiration and LED lighting but is completely concealed in a fitted cabinet above the hob. It’s available in 60cm, 90cm and 120cm. An alternative approach comes with SKLOCK – named after the satisfying noise you get when opening this new telescopic hood. Inclined runners mean that when shut the extractor is again completely concealed from view, within the kitchen unit.

When eye-catching Italian design is wanted as a focal point for the kitchen, Elica continue to produce inspiring and innovative models. Olympus is an island hood that has a dramatic conical shape; however its great innovation is that the circular stainless steel extraction unit descends under remote control towards the cook top when you need it to operate. When not in use it’s positioned well above the work surface - so you have a dramatic island hood that brightly illuminates the cooking area but doesn’t block the view across the kitchen. OLYMPUS is available in black, white, silver and yellow.

Elica pioneered the vertical cooker hood with the award winning iO – the simple circle in a square has become an iconic example of modern minimalist design. Elica continue to innovate with this style of extractor and the latest model, JIGSAW introduces e-motion - an intuitive control system; simply touch the electronically activated panels to operate them. JIGSAW is available in a several finishes including 3 colour on white, black, white, cappuccino and chocolate.
