Utopia turns dream bathrooms into stunning reality
Published:  15 June, 2012

Utopia has been designing and manufacturing beautiful bathroom furniture for more than 20 years with a proven speciality in creating imaginative solutions for transforming a bathroom into a luxurious haven. Inspirational collections allow the creation of a unique space, individually tailored to the customer’s requirements.

With sustainability high on the agenda Utopia strives to make the least possible impact upon the planet - from the FSC certified wood and energy used during manufacture to transport logistics.

British manufacturing at its best

This was the enthusiastic reaction from one retailer in response to Utopia’s product launch in May 2012 when more than 800 key retailers visited the company’s headquarters.

“Holding our launch event at our headquarters allowed us to present the new ranges in great detail, giving each collection the attention it deserved,” comments Marketing Director Helen Clark. “The response was truly exceptional with one visitor noting that it is was ‘fantastic to see British manufacturing at its best - focussed investment, engineering excellence, quality product development and a motivated service-driven workforce and management team - a rarity indeed’.”

Wall-hung modular option

Utopia has added a stylish wall-hung modular option to its Timber Collection of fitted and modular bathroom furniture. Available in the Shaker-inspired Henley in Golden Oak or Walnut with matching carcass, each unit has either a 28mm or 50mm veneer frame. Stunning washbasin units come with the Quantum Square Elegant washbasin while for 600mm or wider cabinets there is a choice of mineralcast or ceramic sit-on basin teamed with 50mm laminate worktop.

Perfect Symmetry

Symmetry is based on a collection of elegantly curved units that work together or as individual pieces to create fitted, freestanding and wall-hung modular options. Complementing the furniture are two new basins: a mineralcast under-mounted teamed with a 50mm solid surface worktop; and a ceramic vanity inset design which can be teamed with 50mm laminate or solid surface worktop. Completing the range is a beautifully shaped bath echoing the curves of the furniture and offered in a variety of sizes and options.

Framing solution

Utopia’s revolutionary i-Line concept is a 50mm framing solution for use in freestanding, fitted and modular situations. For fitted furniture, it allows a run of furniture to be presented in a dramatically different way. When used to create a freestanding look, it offers an exciting modern solution that is perfect for areas of open wall. Modular furniture can be given a fresh look using i-Line to define the unit with a contrasting or co-ordinating frame. The 50mm frame is available in eight finishes for freestanding and fitted furniture and seven for use with modular units; it can be teamed with co-ordinating or contrasting door finishes across the range.
