The KBSA (Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association) has issued a members guide that explains the changes being made to energy labels which come into force from January 2012.
The guidance has been put together by KBSA corporate member Swift Electrical and includes advice about companies’ obligations and responsibilities.
KBSA sales and marketing director Ruth Ward says: “We issued a guide to consumers last year as saving energy to reduce household costs is a growing issue and we wanted to help consumers understand the impact of the new labelling and make better informed energy efficient choices.
“This guide will provide our members with a greater understanding on the new labelling and the role they have to play in helping consumers make greener choices.”
The KBSA advice is available to download from the members’ area of the KBSA website at www.kbsa.org.uk
