Keep cool and in control with Triton’s new nene mixer showers
Published:  13 December, 2011

For customers seeking a stylish bar mixer shower that offers safety and style, but doesn’t break the bank, the new Nene Cool Touch and Nene with Diverter and Body Jets, which have been added to Triton’s Unichrome mixer range, tick all the right boxes. Providing two stylish, cost-effective shower solutions that boast the easy-to-fit features needed for a quick, professional finish every time and both newcomers provide multiple sales opportunities, as they are ideal for replacements through to new builds and extension jobs.

Unichrome Nene Cool Touch Thermostatic Bar Mixer

Ideal when recommending a shower for jobs where budget is an issue or where younger family members need to be taken into account, the Nene Cool Touch combines affordability with safety and style. Not only does the thermostatic control ensure that water temperature does not fluctuate more than 2°C from that selected, but Triton’s Nene Cool Touch draws the cold water feed across the bar mixer to keep the metal valve body at a temperature which is pleasing and comfortable to the touch at all times.

Maintaining standard 150mm water inlet centres, the Nene Cool Touch valve can be used to quickly and easily retro-fit an existing shower and is suitable for all water systems. For new build or semi-structural refurbishment projects, the Bar Mixer Bracket fits to a baton behind the stud wall to support the shower when fitted and also take away the need to measure centres. Or, when replacing an existing bar mixer model, Triton’s Bar Mixer Fittings allow for push-fit connectors to quickly cover existing pipework and be held in place by a mounting plate, which can then be neatly sealed to the tiles.

A centrally-positioned water outlet provides even greater fitting flexibility as the riser rail kit can be secured to either the left or right hand side of the valve as required.  Adjustable wall bracket centres mean that the riser rail can be matched to existing grout lines or tile centres for a clean finish.

For the end user, separate flow and temperature controls, a rub clean shower head with three spray patterns and a sought after chrome finish will appeal to the most demanding customers. Other winning points include an adjustable maximum temperature stop, factory set at 38oC, that can be reset at the time of installation and an automatic shutdown safety feature, which will activate should either water supply fail.

Unichrome Nene with Diverter and Body Jets

Ideal for customers wanting something affordable but dramatic for their bathroom and or when suggesting products for top end new builds, the new Unichrome Nene with Body Jets mixer shower gives a premium look at the right price.

For customers who want to create a dramatic showering space, the Nene Diverter with Body Jets includes a choice of showering options – an overhead deluge shower, a five mode detachable shower head or three, two-mode body jets – and as the diverter allows only one aspect to be used at any one time, performance always remains at its best. A separate lever directs the diverter aspect of the shower and is used independently from the popular individual flow and temperature controls.

Suitable for high pressure or pump-assisted low pressure systems, the Nene with Diverter and Body Jets can be used as a straight-forward replacement for existing mixer showers with 150mm water inlet centres.

Both new Unichrome Nene Cool Touch and the Unichrome Nene with Diverter and Body Jets mixer showers include a five year guarantee, and form part of Triton’s rapid replenishment service if ordered before 5pm.
