Franke celebrates centenary with stunning sinks and taps

Franke is celebrating 100 years in business with its state-of-the art Centinox sink along with two stunning taps and innovative accessories. The Centinox sink encompasses all the elegance, style and precision engineering expected from Franke; the new Slim-Top inset sink edge gives the appearance of a fashionable undermount sink.

The profiled edge incorporates a lip into which practical, innovative tiered accessories fit and slide; designed to slide within the sink are the stylish Rollamat, stainless steel strainer bowl and two-sided stainless steel/synthetic chopping board. A mobile drainer is available as an optional extra.

The 12.5mm deep drawn radii represent a new standard in sink technology and the sink features a round 3.5” basket strainer waste capable of adaptation to take a Franke turbo waste disposal unit - and hygienic overflow.

The Centinox range includes two new taps: the Centinox pull-out nozzle tap and the Centinox swivel spout tap in Chrome or stainless steel. Both are part of the Portfolio 55 collection which offers a five-year guarantee for both finish and parts.

In addition, the ultra-modern Franke Mythos inset range of sinks is designed to offer the ultimate in choice and style for the discerning kitchen stylist or homeowner. Add new technological innovations and you have the new Mythos Fusion MTF sink – the popular version of a favourite with added panache which will lead the way in today’s ultra-streamlined kitchens.

The Mythos Fusion MTF in beautiful onyx is made from Fragranite impregnated with Sanitized and features stainless steel ribs which are completely flat and fused into the sink drainer. Available in both single and one-and-a-half bowl configurations, the sink makes a suitable companion for stainless steel appliances and sleek, minimalist kitchen furniture.

Sanitized is the newest innovation; on unprotected surfaces, bacteria can multiply every 20 minutes. This new integrated Sanitized hygiene solution in Fragranite sinks helps to keep this area clean and provides lasting protection. It does not replace normal cleaning but helps to keep surfaces free from bacteria. Tests have proven that Fragranite treated with Sanitized reduces bacteria and microbe growth by 99%. Sanitized is mixed into the bulk material – not applied as a coating – so it will last for the life of the sink.
