With the introduction in February 2011 of Remo White bringing immediate success for PWS, the launch of Remo Alabaster swiftly followed in August. Retailers and consumers alike have embraced the innovative handleless design and it has already become an extremely popular range. The signature barrel curves of Remo offer a distinctly different aesthetic to other curved furniture available.
Many other contoured doors and drawer designs are offered in the collection so the look can be subtly curved or feature a stunning statement centrepiece. It is therefore no surprise that Remo picked up the Designer Magazine’s gold product innovation award in October.
Furthermore, the new alabaster finish in a fresh neutral tone contrasts well with other colours and textures.
“We expected Remo to be well received but we hadn’t quite appreciated that is would become so popular so quickly,” says marketing manager Andrew Langford. “We soon realised that a second colourway would open up opportunities for the range by offering a softer alternative to white. “
As with the majority of PWS door ranges, Remo has achieved FIRA Gold Award status.
