British brand Victoria + Albert turned to the architecture of Spain’s Catalonian capital to inspire its latest bath and basin collection. The new pebble-shaped Barcelona range draws on the city’s celebration of organic form to give soft curves and smooth lines to an ergonomic rimless design.
The double ended 1785mm long bath boasts a deep 524mm well to provide a luxurious bathing experience. Hand finished in QUARRYCAST®, a unique material combining naturally white volcanic limestone with high performance resins, the Barcelona boasts the strength of cast iron but with warm to the touch insulating properties. At just 80kg, the bath is ideal for spaces where structural load bearing needs to be considered.
The 640mm long QUARRYCAST® Barcelona 64 countertop basin echoes the style and form of the bath to create the perfect pairing. Placed either alone or in a ‘his and her’ configuration, the Barcelona basin makes a striking focal point.
The Barcelona is currently on display at Victoria + Albert’s dedicated specification showroom in London’s Design Centre Chelsea Harbour, but thanks to a carefully selected network of retailers across the UK, Victoria + Albert is always within easy reach.
