RAK Ceramics’ porcelain tiles and slabs have been specified throughout the Radisson Edwardian Mercer Street Hotel in London’s Covent Garden. Totalling over 6,000 m2, the installation forms part of a £15 million refurbishment of the boutique hotel and spans all bathrooms and public areas.
Reflecting an opulent design by Amrit Singh the luxury contemporary bathrooms feature polished and matt grey porcelain tiles from RAK’s Lounge range. Porcelain slab material was fabricated to create elegant vanity units, window sills and staircases, chosen for its high abrasion resistance, durability and low water absorption.
RAK’s Lounge collection includes honed porcelain wall tiles, floor tiles and slabs in a spectrum of mottled shades. Colour options include ivory, beige, light and dark grey and brown available in square and rectangular formats; a mixed-tone black, grey and ivory mosaic is included.
RAK’s semi-polished metallic Paradox large format tiles were installed throughout public areas including reception, bar, restaurant and corridors.
