Baumatic has assumed full ownership and control of its Chinese manufacturing division in Shunde. The company will now roll out its programme for European innovation to China and the rest of Asia. While design and manufacture will continue through the company’s main European factories, this acquisition will enable Baumatic to strengthen the brand’s worldwide identity by securing the creation of a cohesive global range of products.
Baumatic has already relocated to a larger, better equipped factory, tapping into the full potential of a young manufacturing unit that has created award-winning appliances such as the P632 Black Stainless Steel Oven.
“With this acquisition we can up the ante in the white goods manufacturing industry by offering as standard exceptional European quality across all markets at a much more competitive rate,” comments president Enzo Balestrazzi. “We can also ensure the production of a global range of first-class products that are instantly recognisable as Baumatic.”
