The latest version 5.8 of Virtual Worlds Pro, the acclaimed and widely used CAD design software for the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom industry, has just been released featuring innovative new features and the latest catalogues from the extensive list of manufacturers including Heritage Bathrooms, Villeroy & Boch, H & R Johnson, Porcelanosa and Crosswater.
This latest version is compatible with AutoCAD, meaning that KBB designers can import AutoCAD generated building plans, work on their kitchen, bathroom or bedroom designs and then export them back to the original architect or developer in an AutoCAD compatible format.
On the tiling front there is an improved Advanced Tiling programme, which is now an integral part of the main software package. New and improved functions include the facility to scan in and work with all manufacturers’ tiles and formats, the ability to create tiling plans calculated from any starting point and being able to specify and save any repeat pattern.
The new online facility is another useful development – simply put up a design on a private, online viewing area for a customer to consider at their leisure; they can interact with it by ‘flying through’ a room from any angle and then open up cupboards or shower doors or look in drawers at the available storage space.
