As the UK’s largest kbb business management software provider, EQ’s portfolio progressed into the web arena after a successful launch at KBB 2010. “It isn’t all about selling online,” explains EQ Software marketing manager Neil Schofield. “Rather more about a presence and increasing showroom traffic and leads.”
“We used to spend nearly £2000 a month on local newspaper advertising which worked very well at the time and brought people into the showroom,” comments long-standing customer Steve Cowburn, owner of Countess Interiors.
“With consumers increasingly looking on the Internet before venturing onto the high street, it was important for us to have an impressive ‘shop window’ on the web primarily to drive the browsing traffic to our retail premises. EQ helped us achieve this and progress to selling our products online. Our eStore site combined with Countess’ internal EQ Software system has developed into a sophisticated and seamless sales and communication platform - and we now also have national coverage.“
The eStore web package is available from EQ Software from a simple brochure website to a full eCommerce solution allowing configurable furniture specification.
