Several big names from the fitted furniture industry were on show including; Wilsonart, Kronospan, Sensio and Articad. Blum used HPX as a platform to debut their latest innovation MOVENTO, a new runner system which offers enhanced assembly ease and 4-dimensional front adjustment which is possible without any extra parts. Another popular stand was Egger’s which showcased their latest decors as well as allowing visitors to have a play with their latest technical innovation VDS-HD. With its 40” touch screen, VDS-HD is an easy way to present colour combinations in a wide variety of room sets and has been designed specifically for use in showroom environments. The event was also attended by the local mayor who was eager to show his support to HPP as a thriving local business that employs over 125 people.

Just as popular as the exhibitor stands were the factory tours and entertainment which included virtual golf, racing and clay pigeon shooting. The common theme from people who went on a factory tour was surprise at the scale of HPP’s current operation which currently has over 150,000 sq ft of floor space equipped with modern machinery. Tour participants were also able to see examples of how work flows are optimised across the business as well as several initiatives that are in place to ensure that operations have a minimal environmental impact.

Managing director Stephen Hill commented “The event went tremendously well, I’ve had lots of fantastic comments both during the show and afterwards from exhibitors and guests alike. I am particularly pleased that visitors found the show useful and managed to go away with new ideas and contacts that will help them build their businesses.”

HPP will not be resting on their laurels now the show is over though. They are planning on capitalising on the momentum with raft off new product introductions as well as launching an updated range of marketing materials including their biggest ever brochure.
