An Amica upright freezer and two larder fridges were used by the contestants in the first series of Cookery School currently being aired on Channel 4 and also available on 4oD. Cookery School is a daily cookery competition hosted by Irish Michelin Star celebrity chef Richard Corrigan and food writer, chef and TV presenter Gizzi Erskine. In the programme, Richard and Gizzi teach the secrets of great cooking from the basics to advanced level including soufflés, oysters and sauces as well as techniques from spatchcocking to sugar spinning.
Amica supplied its FZ292FSX upright no frost freezer and two FC362MSX larder fridges for use on the set to store the fresh meats, vegetables and other produce. At 185cm in height and A+ rated for energy efficiency with a number of shelves, a range of containers, Amica’s Door Bin Systems, an Eco function and electronic control panel, providing plenty of space and perfect storage conditions.
