Domestic & General now has 10 million customers worldwide, confirming its growth and resilience in the prevailing economic climate. For over 60 years the company has provided product protection for major domestic appliances, consumer electronic products and central heating systems. In recent years growth has been driven largely by a clear customer focus and continuous product development.
This includes innovations such as Repair & Protect which enables customers to buy a plan at the point of need which protects them for their immediate breakdown and subsequent faults for an additional period.
The company currently operates in 11 countries and international sales make up 22% of total business, a figure which is expected to grow considerably in the coming years.
