Storage solutions have now become a vital factor in kitchen planning at any level (arguably even more so in compact kitchens). The kitchen is now the centre of the modern home living area and people want clutter-free surfaces and storage that is intelligently organised and places everything to hand.

Contemporary kitchen design trends are for clean lines, clear work surfaces with everything that is not in use placed in instantly accessible storage. This has meant that there is a far greater focus on internal organisation and accessibility for each item and utensil.
