New additions to the luxury Apollo® range
Published:  12 July, 2011

Europe's leading luxury worktop manufacturer, Sheridan, has launched a new addition to its increasingly popular, Apollo® Quartz range of worktops. Apollo® Metallica Quartz is a stunning new Quartz worktop, manufactured from a combination of over 90% natural quartz, stain resistant polymers and metallic particles.

Apollo® Metallica Quartz has the look and feel of granite, but has a number of advantages, being resistant to chemicals, is much easier to clean and maintain and because it's non porous, it doesn't require sealants or waxes.

Apollo® Metallica Quartz is available in 20mm and 30mm thicknesses, is uniform in colour and has wonderful reflective qualities (thanks to its metallic particles) making it a beautiful and much sought after addition to any kitchen. Available in four sparkling colours, Iridium, Tungsten, Strontium and Titanium, these really do need to be seen to be believed, as even the best photography is unable to capture them in their full glory (contact Sheridan for samples).

Apollo® Metallica Quartz, is also available in the innovative Apollo® Quicktops, revolutionary “V groove” technology creating an affordable 40mm worktop from a 15mm slab.

By popular demand, Sheridan have also launched a new addition to the Apollo® Quartz family. Palma Brown is a rich, brown alternative to Astro Black, a sprinkling of metallic flecks gives this new colour a highly desirable sparkle to enhance any kitchen.

Moon Rock and Dark Chocolate are two new additions to the Apollo® Magna range. Apollo® Magna is a 6mm solid surface on a 35mm chipboard base, the result is a 41mm thick worktop which has the look and feel of a much more expensive 12mm solid surface. Warm and inviting to the touch, Apollo® Magna is very easy to clean and maintain, is difficult to stain, provides inconspicuous, unobtrusive and seamless joints and is a perfect fit for the would be laminate buyer who aspires to a more luxurious kitchen worktop.

Another Apollo® Magna colour, Black Velvet, is now being manufactured in acrylic, which is less prone to marking, however the higher cost of raw material will necessitate that Black Velvet’s price increases by around 12%.

Apollo® Avignon and Apollo® Auxerre stainless steel undermounted sinks are an affordable, but high quality alternative to other similar, but more expensive stainless steel sinks on the market, with a new addition in the Apollo® Biarritz inset stainless steel sink being introduced this summer.
