Traditional range cookers from Rayburn
Published:  12 July, 2011

The first Rayburn was produced in 1946 – and the principles that made it revolutionary then, make it a sensible and economic choice today. Rayburn cookers were originally engineered to provide homeowners with plentiful hot water and convenient cooking, while consuming the least amount of fuel, and are made from recycled iron.

To underpin their green credentials, 70% of each Rayburn cooker is made from previously used material including car gearboxes. And at the end of their long lives, Rayburn appliances are almost completely recyclable.

There are a wide range of models available: cooker with central heating and domestic hot water, cooker and domestic hot water as well as cooker only.  Plus, there are Rayburn cookers available in natural or propane gas, commercial kerosene, solid fuel and wood-burning versions.

Despite their traditional good looks, Rayburn incorporates some of the most advanced technology available in the boiler and range cooker markets.  For example, the Rayburn 480CD has an ultra-efficient A-rated condensing boiler which reduces the owner’s fuel bills considerably.

Rayburn cookers afford complete controllability, ensuring energy is only used when required, as with the Heatranger 600 which can heat up to 20 radiators, provide copious hot water and produce wonderfully cooked and succulent food.

Reliability and efficiency lie at the heart of the Rayburn concept. Designed by engineers and hand built by craftsmen, the Rayburn cooker delivers assured performance year after year.
