Sensio Lighting reports fantastic success at Kbb London 2011 after the launch of its new Approved Retailer Programme.
Kitchen lighting specialist, Sensio Lighting, exhibited at kbb London between 15th and 17th May, launching several ground-breaking product lines including the ‘Innovation Awards’ nominated Slideline Click HD LED, Quadra collection and the SLS LED.
Sensio also took the opportunity to launch a new initiative: The Approved Retailer Program. Designed by Sensio to lend support to retailers in the sale of kitchen lighting, ARP proved highly successful; Sensio signed up 75 retailers to ARP on the first day of the show.
Intended to help retailers generate sales and reinvent the way in which kitchen lighting is viewed in the industry, ARP provides point of sales material and technical support where necessary. Also offered is a complete showroom planning service to help retailers get the best from their display lighting and to generate more sales as a result.
Managing Director of Sensio, Michael Linsky, explains the intention behind ARP, ‘We view shows like kbb London as an unmissable opportunity to communicate directly with our retailers. After extensive research and communication with them, we found that there was a general feeling that not enough support existed to help in the sale of kitchen lighting; we want to change this. We know we have the innovative products and expertise to give retailers a helping hand to start the education process for consumers as to what can be achieved with a tailored lighting solution in the kitchen. Our ultimate goal is to get consumers thinking about lighting as a key part of their kitchen design as it really does make all the difference to the final product, creating a greater volume of sales for retailers and ultimately ourselves.’
Under the ARP initiative, retailers who sign up will receive a display package of Sensio products at heavily discounted rates as well as point of sale materials, a free listing on the Sensio website and anytime access to a dedicated lighting consultant, along with plenty of other benefits.
‘The feedback we got at kbb London was just incredible’ continues Michael, ‘it seems we really have tapped into an area that is vastly undeveloped. Retailers loved the idea and, along with some of our incredible products, we believe ARP is just what’s needed to take kitchen lighting from an afterthought to a key aspect of kitchen design.’
