Waiting for the kettle to boil is set to be a thing of the past with the new Minerva 3-in-1 Kettle tap from Franke in chrome or SilkSteel PVD. Boiling water is available instantly at the twist of a button.
The Kettle tap provides hot, cold and boiling water from one unit. Only the water required is used -resulting in savings in water and electricity. The hot water tank can be fitted under the plinth so it will not take up valuable space.
An in-built conditioning filter to ensure water quality can be fitted new or retrospectively and requires a standard 35mm taphole.
“This tap is an innovation,” comments product manager John Swain. “It has one spout whereas many others on the market have separate boiling water taps and do not reach 100°C. It also has a safety button which needs to be activated to allow the boiling water to be discharged.”
