Entering the UK with refrigeration in 1991, Beko now holds the number one spot in the cooling, freestanding cooking and washing machine categories, and number two and four positions in dishwashing and tumble drying respectively .

The product launch event, which was attended by Beko customers, UK and Turkish media, the Turkish ambassador and representatives from Beko’s parent company Arcelik, included key note speeches and the reveal of ‘Beko Square’ kitchen sets, designed to demonstrate various consumers’ homes. Each day ended with an evening gala dinner including entertainment.

With the aim of providing more of the features and benefits that consumers desire, the new Beko family look is simple and stylish with new crystal clear interiors for all cooling and freezing models, simple and easy to use electronics and ergonomic control panels for washing machines and tumble dryers, and for the freestanding cooking models a totally new platform offering consumers real benefits, including larger ovens with excellent energy ratings

At the event, Beko also announced that as of April 2011 it now offers a two year warranty covering parts and labour, on all products in the Beko built-in and integrated ranges.

 

COOLING

The 60 and 70cm cooling and freezing range has been updated to include an elegant new door design and low profile water dispensers. Beko has also introduced some A+ energy rated freestanding and built-in models.

 

HOME LAUNDRY

The new design covers all models in the range, from 6kg to 9kg. Programmers and timers have been updated, the highly successful ‘Daily Quick’ programme has been extended across the Excellence range and a unique ‘Pet Hair Reduction’ programme is being introduced to significantly reduce the chore of removing pet hairs from clothing.

The freestanding dishwasher range has seen the addition of a new 44dB 10L A+AA rated model with ‘Auto Sense’ programming.

The new Beko Home Laundry range is supported by further developments in tumble drying including new condenser models with better energy ratings and improved programme timers. It is completed with the the new ‘Dry and Save’ tumble dryer.

 

COOKING

To finish the range Beko introduced a completely new collection of 60cm freestanding cookers, incorporating the same principles as the recent built-in oven range, with user-friendly controls and a modern look. 

The new built-in oven range also features additions, including the OIM25503X model with ‘nano’ cleaning technology and 12 cooking function for maximum flexibility. It also features a market leading A+++ energy rating, which is 30% better than a standard A rated model.
