Kitchen and bathroom design showcase reaches the capital

Kbb London is the only capital event dedicated exclusively to kitchen, bedroom and bathroom design. It launches this year from 15-17 May at ExCeL and is set to attract a large number of decision makers from all sectors of the kbb industry. During three days, the show will offer an unprecedented showcase of the latest in kbb design, educational discussions from the industry’s top professionals and an exclusive selection of pioneering product concepts.

More than 120 companies have confirmed their participation at the event, presenting a wealth of products, from new design concepts and unique collections to creative collaborations. The well-known industry names featuring at the show include Abode, April Showers, Armani/Roca, Aquadart, CDUK, Edwin Loxley, Euroshowers, The Heating Company, Nobilia, Pitacs, Poggenpohl, Roca, Samsung, Scavolini, Steel Cuisine, Stonearth, Thomas Dudley, Triflow Concepts, Vitra, VZUG and Waterline.

The show will reflect distinctive characteristics of the kbb industry through the ‘Innovation’ theme, tailored specifically to the interests of kbb London visitors. The theme will be visible in a number of feature areas such as the Innovation Centre, The Room and a free seminar programme.

The Innovation Centre will showcase the finalists of the kbb London Innovation Awards. A prestigious panel of industry experts has chosen the shortlist, judging the entries on their approach to innovation through design, sustainability and ingenuity. Among the finalists are Teuco UK’s non-visible hydrotherapy system, ABK InnoVent bv’s customisable i-Cooking kitchen worktop and Hafele UK’s bathroom solution for disabled users. Other companies featuring at the Innovation Centre include CDA, Franke Ltd, Hansgrohe, Hoover and Whirlpool.

The Room will be a luxury environment abundant with the latest sumptuous bathroom collections from international manufacturers and collaborations. The area will present custom-designed room sets by celebrated designers Philip Watts Design and Naomi Cleaver in collaboration with Barber Wilson, classic English styling from Drummonds, preciously executed designs from Armani/Roca plus B C Designs, Roca, Impey, Laufen, VitrA and many more.

Alongside kbb London, top industry retailers, designers and suppliers will be recognised during an exclusive evening of The kbbreview Industry Awards 2011. The event will host nearly 800 guests and provide them with top-class business networking opportunities, while celebrating the industry’s excellence.
