Interzum 2011 will be no different with Blum planning to show “Interesting innovations, proven product systems and many ideas for practical kitchens under the motto of Perfecting Motion.”

User convenience underpins the designs but Blum will also show the applications for their fittings throughout the modern home.

In terms of storage and user convenience, to areas in which Blum lead internationally, Interzum will see a fascinating re-launch of the highly successful Dynamic Space concept under the banner of “Blum’s ideas for practical kitchens.”

 

What to look out for – the highlights of the Blum stand:

Understandably, Blum will not disclose its top innovations before the show but say that they will present new fittings solutions of interest to furniture designers, manufacturers and end users.

The Clip top Blumotion hinge with integrated soft close is not only available for standard models, but also for the most common angled hinges, for blind corner and profile/thick door hinges, and for doors with narrow and wide aluminium frames.

There is now an Aventos lift system for every application due to the bi-fold lift (HF), the up and over (HS), the lift up (HL) and the stay lift (HK + HKS). In addition to tried and tested opening by hand with Tip-on (for HK), wall cabinets can now open and close with utmost ease with electric Servo-Drive.

Plenty of space will be devoted to pull-out systems at Interzum this year. The focus will be on design and function – always combined with ease of assembly and adjustment. Handle-less fronts, concealed runner systems and freedom of design will also feature strongly in Blum’s presentation and the show.

Blum will also be displaying interesting solutions at the “IOI – Innovation of Interior”. This is a special exhibition held within the framework of Interzum which is especially aimed at architects. Blum will strive to show how fittings can also be a perfect combination of design and function.

The Blum stand at Interzum will cover more than 1,200 square metres (12,900 square feet) and a full team of Blum UK staff will be on hand to welcome British and Irish visitors.
