ECF continue their support for Matt Hampson trust by attending the latest fund raising event.
The 6 Nations dinner was held at the Battersea Evolution arena and included appearances from around 40 past and present rugby players.
The night was filled with questions and answers from players such as Mike Tindall and our own England captain Martin Johnson. An auction was also run throughout the night by the resident auctioneer Charlie Ross adding to the approximate £160,000 raised over the whole evening.
Here at ECF we would like to thank all those suppliers and customers who took part for giving their support to our chosen charity.
Matt Hampson is the inspirational figure behind Walk4Matt. Despite being paralysed from the neck down after a training accident with England Under-21s, he leads an active life, and remains completely involved with the game he loves as a journalist, coach. Matt is now dedicated to setting up his foundation, which will help other people with similar injuries to his own.
