At ISH 2011, Kaldewei presented the new Asymmetric Duo. This subtly designed bath tub cleverly plays with the principle of imbalance: timeless, aesthetic design language meets comfortable functionality. A wide rim running the length of the bath on one side characterises the design along with a generously contoured and comfortable interior. The rim can be 12cm, 15.5cm or 18.5cm depending on the size of the bath (170x80cm, 190x90cm or 190x100cm). Aligned against the wall, it provides a ledge for mounting the tap and shower fittings and storing bath products. When the rim is positioned into the room, it acts as storage, a practical seat and also makes for easy access into the bath tub.

For the first time at ISH, the Conoduo and Ellipso Duo Oval baths from Kaldewei were presented in the high fashion shades of Lava Black and Arctic White elegant matt finish. Made from glass, enamelling by nature is high gloss, so pioneering techniques have been adopted by Kaldewei to create these new contemporary matt shades which offer an entirely new quality of sensuous experience in the bathroom.

Based on the original and highly successful Superplan floor level shower tray, Superplan Plus made its debut at ISH. With a new waste outlet with round enamelled cover in the same colour as the tray, this new version available in 12 sizes has its own completely independent design. The drain cover blends harmoniously and absolutely flush with the surface of the tray and the overall aesthetic design of the Superplan Plus in precious Kaldewei 3.5-mm steel enamel – providing the perfect comfort underfoot and maximum safety at all times.

Exclusive design language, puristic design and modern looks – the elegant lines of the floor-level Conoflat shower tray by Kaldewei have proved a best-seller for the company. 12 new sizes have been added for 2011 bringing the total offer to 29 ranging from 80 x 90cm to 90 x 170cm.
