“Over the last eight months, sales of Espresso granite, especially in the modern Bali 105 sink, have grown far faster than any other colour we offer. It’s a good colour to provide tonal harmony with worksurfaces that are moving in the brown-black direction and door frontals in textured woodgrains in both light and rich shades. The rich chocolate Espresso colour is subtly undercut with pearlescent particles and complemented by the low reflective smooth matt surface finish, giving designers an opportunity to create an interesting layering effect with other products in the kitchen scheme. Whilst appearing like a solid block of colour, on closer inspection, the pearlescent particles in the granite gently refract the light lending it a sophisticated dimension and depth.

Espresso is one of the nine granite colours available from Carron Phoenix along with Champagne, Oatmeal, Espresso, Polar White, Platinum, Jet Black, Stone Grey and Graphite. Here it’s pictured with the best-selling Bali 105 sink which follows the less is more rule of contemporary styling with the simplicity of the design giving a very elegant aesthetic, while balancing the proportions of spacious bowl and drainer areas. The sink measures 970 x 500mm overall, fitting into a 600mm cabinet, and the bowl measures 460 x 390 x 190mm. Bali is available in three models, the single bowl 100 and 105 and the one and half bowl 150 with the smart chrome Revolution overflow and accessories including a chopping board and stainless steel basket.
