Craig Rothwell, MD of 20-20 Technologies has completed a 10 day charity climb up Africa’s highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro, to raise funds for the biggest youth centre in the UK, Bolton Lads and Girls Club.
On 5th March, Craig took the challenging Rongai route up to the 19,340 foot summit in his fundraising mission for Bolton Lads and Girls Club. Craig and the team set down the gauntlet of completing the mammoth climb to raise £13,000 for the charity’s mentoring scheme.
Craig Rothwell, MD of 20-20 Technologies commented: “The climb was both physically and mentally challenging but knowing the funds would help Bolton Lads and Girls Club continue its mentoring scheme spurred the team on.
“Thanks to everyone who has already donated funds and for those that haven’t please dig deep. We’ve done the hard work all you have to do is donate whatever you can afford.”
Bolton Lads and Girls Club is open 7 days-a-week, 52 weeks-a-year and welcomes all young people aged 8-21 years old. The mentoring scheme provides one on one support for children who have been born into unfortunate circumstances including child abuse, abandoned at birth, poverty.
