Baumatic has launched the perfect product to ensure home-cooked food can be stored at its optimum temperature for reheating.
The Department of Health recommends that in order to ensure all the goodness and nutrients remain in freshly cooked food when stored, its temperature should be reduced from +70ºC to +3ºC within 90 minutes. Baumatic’s Blast Chiller exceeds this by safely blast chilling from a starting temperature of +90ºC.
Powerful fans create a fast, even air flow. Using a high-powered refrigeration system, cold air is blasted laterally over the product at high speed to extract heat at an optimum rate while maintaining food quality. Once the cycle is complete, the appliance switches to ‘thermal maintenance mode’ to keep the food at its optimum temperature until it is stored.
