This groundbreaking idea, incorporating Roca’s new ‘water-reuse’ technology, uses waste water from the basin to fill the WC cistern, reducing water usage by up to 25% compared to a standard 6/3 litre dual-flush WC. A dual cleaning system filters particle debris and chemically treats the used water before using it to flush the WC, thereby eliminating bacteria.

The majority of Roca’s single lever basin mixers are fitted with a hi-tech Eco-disk cartridge which is covered by a lifetime guarantee. Not only does this reduce the level of water consumption by up to 50%, it also helps to save energy with its advanced temperature regulator. The latest offering is the ergonomic-inspired Singles-Pro, also available as an extended mixer. This has a built-in water flow limiter set at 9 litres per minute - saving 25% more than other standard single lever taps and is equipped with an innovative progressive cartridge. This controls the water temperature by always starting the flow with cold water. The temperature is only increased by further turning the lever. As a result, the cartridge allows significant energy savings by not switching the boiler on unnecessarily.

To further encourage water saving, Roca’s collection of shallow countertop basins offer a reduction in water capacity of more than 35% on average when compared to standard pedestal basins. The Urbi range can reduce water capacity by 52% on average. The eight different designs give the illusion of large, indulgent basins while encouraging the user to consume less water.

All Roca cisterns are dual flush: D2D and D4D have two installed push-buttons; 6/3 and 4.5/3 litre flush options feature delayed fill valves, stopping fresh water entering the cistern until the flush valve closes after the cistern has completely emptied. These simple yet innovative design features can help to save 60% of water, reducing the total consumption per person per year to 4,320 litres on average.

Also available are Roca’s flow regulators and limiting valves. These can be easily fitted into basin, bath shower, bidet mixers and showers such as the new V2-T thermostatic shower to control the amount of water flow. The V2-T also has a built in temperature restrictor limiting to 48°C to meet Part G of the governments building regulations.
