Blum make your kitchen beautiful on the inside with Intivo
Published:  10 March, 2011

Mainly concerned with the performance and motion of the internal workings of a kitchen, Blum designers have taken kitchen interiors to a new level with the highly popular introduction of Intivo – a concept that individualises and personalises the drawer and pull-out interior when exposed.

Using the established Blum Tandembox as the basis, the drawer sides (and front in the case of hidden pull-outs) will accept insert panels to which there is almost no limitation in terms of design.

So the drawer side can, for instance be matched to the worktop or cabinet frontals but plain or frosted glass frontals can be inserted. While it is just glass Intivo panels currently available ex-stock from Blum UK (either frosted or clear), a wide variety of designs and patterns on glass including background and feature pattern colours are available from Blum in Austria in minimum order quantities of 50 and these designs are also augmented by a selected number of leather designs.

However any kitchen manufacturer can either supply any cut-to-size 8mm thick panel to fit into the intivo-Tandembox chassis – marble, stone, granite, solid surface, acrylic….take your pick!

The next time you open a drawer in your kitchen it could be like walking into the Tate Modern!
