Halcyon is Elica’s latest vertical hood. The style is a classic blend of contemporary and retro with a micro mesh filter that is a real design feature.
Everyone knows that any hood works best when it is ducted but that has always meant you needed a chimney to conceal the ducting which could spoil the aesthetic you are looking for . But now Elica offers a simple but elegant alternative: Halcyon can be installed with the exhaust outlet going straight out of the back of the hood so avoiding the need for an external chimney.
Of course Halcyon can be also installed with the exhaust coming out of the top of the motor unit when it is in re-circulating mode or with a brushed stainless steel, vertical chimney flue to conceal ducting in the conventional way.
Halcyon is 80cm wide and also available is Mini Halcyon which is 55cm wide. Both models can come in black, white or stainless steel.
