Lakes Kitchens, Mark Two’s exclusive brand of mid-market kitchens, went from strength to strength in 2010. Continuous investment in the brand resulted in new product introductions throughout the year and continues into 2011, with Garda joining Como and Modena as part of the Lakes Italian Collection in January.
Garda is a sleek, linen effect door with a metallic sheen, packed with minimalist style. This European inspired 22mm MFC door is quite unlike anything currently in the marketplace and is completely versatile – not only will it look stunning in your kitchen, it can create a smooth, streamlined look in living areas too. Garda gives the consumer a luxury, contemporary look yet it appears in only the second price group of the 8 that the Lakes range boasts.
The second major introduction of 2011 is the Lakes handleless solution. With concealed push-to-open components Lakes can now offer the ultimate in modern furnishing concepts, providing a minimalist, contemporary look. Reverse sprung hinges and discreet magnetic catches allow for doors to be opened smoothly and effortlessly with a simple press. The touch open concept continues on to drawers, achieved through the fully integrated mechanism within the drawer runners. The handleless look is maintained even on appliance doors, using stainless steel effect concealed handles and aluminium profile sets to allow for a truly handleless kitchen.
