Make a design statement in the smallest room

Small bathrooms are always a challenge to design and decorate but with a few clever design choices it can help the smallest of cloakrooms and en suites feel beautifully luxurious. Although a small bathroom can quickly feel cluttered, selecting the right components will help to create a soothing and comfortable haven.

Using light pastel colors on the walls can go a long way to making the bathroom appear more spacious, helping to create that relaxing spa feeling.

Regaedless of its size, your bathroom can ooze class and tranquility. It is clearly evident from the addition of shallow projection wash basins and short projection back-to-wall pans over recent years that storage within cloakrooms and en-suites is a must.

For small areas such as cloakrooms which now average 1.2m x 1m in size, manufacturers are providing flexibility in their sizing, with units starting from 200mm deep and 150mm wide, which allows designers to blend style with practical storage solutions.

Designers can now make a real statement in any bathroom – even the smallest cloakroom or en suite.
