Walk-in and frameless enclosures with a low level tray provide a ready-made wetroom look

Consumers are continuing to favour a clean and contemporary style for their bathroom so frameless doors, screens and enclosures are in strong demand and a trend that we anticipate will endure for many years to come.

Much of this growth is attributable to the rise of the wetroom look. Easy to achieve with a low level shower tray, this design ticks all the boxes as it appeals aesthetically to the luxury contemporary market and is also practical; no big step up into the shower area makes it a good investment for all ages and an obvious choice for ‘lifetime homes’.

Walk-in and frameless enclosures with a low level tray provide a ready-made wetroom look without the need for a tiled wet floor and all the associated professional trade costs for creating this. Full enclosures have the additional benefit of providing a cosy and watertight space for a luxury shower.

Another emerging trend is the demand for bespoke solutions with customers looking for customised products to create their own unique shower space. Frameless styles are particularly conducive to this as they can be created with special angles and in non-standard widths or heights, such as full height frameless glass that can be secured to the ceiling to achieve a stunning contemporary result.

Finally, while the overall trend is towards contemporary, traditional cannot be overlooked. We have many period homes in the UK that demand a style to suit and there are also signs of resurgence in classic, timeless designs.
